Datum Advisory

Clarity before transformation

A clear starting point.
No unnecessary commitment.

Tell us what is happening. We will discuss whether Datum can help and agree a sensible first step.

Start with an informal conversation.

The initial conversation is informal and carries no obligation. You do not need a finished brief. If investigation or a business review is needed, its scope and fees are agreed before it becomes chargeable work.

You can also put our standard Master Services Agreement in place in advance, at no fee and with no minimum hours or obligation to commission work. Datum is then ready to agree work when needed.

A charging approach that fits the work.

Hourly or daily

Suitable for investigation and flexible support, with an agreed allowance or spending limit and a review before exceeding it.

Project or deliverable

A defined scope and output, with fees and any stages agreed. Discovery may be a separate first step.

Retainer

Regular advice or support with an agreed allocation, responsibilities, availability and review arrangements.

Clear agreements. Proportionate detail.

The Master Services Agreement sets the general terms of the relationship, including confidentiality. A Statement of Work or proportionate written work order defines each engagement: scope, outputs, responsibilities, fees and relevant delivery or acceptance arrangements.

Changes are discussed and agreed before additional work proceeds. Specific contractual or confidentiality requirements can be discussed before starting; any bespoke agreement work is addressed separately.

You receive a clear written outcome.

For a small intervention: what was found, what was fixed, checks performed, remaining limitations and relevant advice.

For more involved work: structured findings, options, recommendations, priorities and next steps, with responsibilities and decisions made clear where appropriate. Documentation and knowledge transfer are included to the extent agreed in the scope.

Specialist help where it belongs.

Datum delivers within its experience and can help define and coordinate specialist work where needed. Technical cyber security testing, formal certification and specialist legal advice require the relevant expertise.

Where relevant to your plans, we can also help explore whether external support or funding may be available, subject to current eligibility and programme conditions.
